Mayadevi Rural Municipality – IT Officer Vacancy Notice 2082

Local Government, Mayadevi Rural Municipality, Office of the Rural Municipal Executive, Barewa, Rupandehi announces a vacancy for the position of Information Technology Officer (IT Officer) on a service contract under the Province and Local Governance Support Programme (PLGSP).

Eligible Nepali citizens meeting the criteria below are invited to submit applications within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.

Vacancy Details

• 2. Post: Information Technology Officer (IT Officer)
• 3. Level: Equivalent to Local Service Officer Level Seventh
• 4. Required Number: 1 (one)

Minimum Qualification

The candidate must meet either of the following criteria:

• Minimum qualification required for the Computer Officer post as prescribed by the Public Service Commission (PSC), OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Information & Communication Technologies, or equivalent field such as:
  BIT, BIM, BBIS, BCA, BCIS, BEIT, BSc. IT, BSc. CSIT from a recognized educational institution.

• Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate
• Academic qualification certificates
• Equivalence certificate (if degree obtained outside Nepal)
• Work experience certificates (if any)
• Any other relevant documents

Terms of Reference (TOR)

As per guidelines set by the Province and Local Governance Support Programme (PLGSP).

Age Limit

• Men: 21–35 years
• Women: 21–40 years

Type of Examination

• Written Examination
• Practical Examination
• Interview

Rs. 1,000 (One Thousand Only)

Contract Period

Up to the end of Ashadh 2083.

Salary

As per rules of the Rural Municipality.
